The Brit Accent Tactic- A Brief Video

7/21/2010

Blogs, Bond & ReBoot

Okay, I've gotten over post-World-Cup depression. The video blogs were fun and I'll pick them back up when the British Premiership starts, now on with the show...

I may be the only one not going to Comi-Con this weekend but happily I get my own "comic convention" at ACME Comedy this Friday night. That's right people, it's "Dream Role" time. They asked me to pick a genre and I picked JAMES BOND MOVIE. This should be interesting. I really just want to play evil, that's what I want to do. So I'll put on the villainess suit and improv away for the first time in over a year...you be the judge of the results. It's streaming online too....ultra scaaaary.

Less scary- I've been pretty impressed with how many hits Gavin Michael Booth's fly-on-the wall interview has gotten. But also vainly annoyed by how much I wrinkle my forehead when expressing myself. Gotta stop doing that people, or I'll be pre-maturely stabbing myself with a Botox needle.

As I write, I'm hearing insane noises come from my computer, which means one of three things: 1) I've been editing too much video footage and it's slowing down my hard drive, 2) My comp is 2 years old and is about to clonk, 3) Combination of 1) and 2).

This thing is my bread-and-butter (or gluten-free cracker and low-fat margarine by L.A. standards) so before I face creative armageddon, I better back up files of my life's work, heart and soul....plus that new Ne-Yo song I bought off iTunes which is dope (I'm so pop).

Read these words: I WILL NOT LOSE MY S*&T!!

Signed,

A technologically-less-than-savvy kitten.

I hope you've been enjoying the World Cup video blogs, as much as I have. My editing skills on iMovie have definitely improved and I might have to find an excuse to continue my fly-on-the-wall antics.

I got back from London this week and am still weirdly home-sick...which is not usual. Maybe it was the deceptively nice weather and World Cup fever that made it so wonderful!!

Anyway, back in town and back to "responsibilities." Let's get this show on the road...

When there are coals in the fire, you better start burning them, cause you don't wanna miss an opportunity. As Mr. Gandhi said: "The future depends on what we do in the present." Amen to that...

Happy America Day (aka Fourth of July)!
