The Art of Sucking

So statistically speaking, we will all suck once in a while at something we are "good at." One of those moments happened, tonight. In Burbank.

Yes, tonight I did a class and I truly...well, sucked.

For the non-acting public- you know those days at work where you can just feel yourself plummeting and what's worse, you don't even care? Uh-huh. Now just imagine that you are being judged in 2 minutes. Uh-huh. And the stuff that is put in front of you...well, it's just not what YOU do. You don't care that so-and-so is leaving the Inn. In fact, with that weird I-just-bit-a-lemon look on her face, you hope she damn well does.

I usually have too much ambition to let myself fall so hard but I fell and to be honest the only solution I could find was in a nice Gin and Tonic waiting at home.

C'est la vie. Chances are I'll be Cate Blanchette in the next time ;).

Don't be so hard on yourself, you are a professional.
Feel very confident in yourself, you are immensely talented.
All of those people in that class combined don't have the talent you have in your little finger...

don't worry. i write in the state of emotion i have in the moment. these feelings pretty much blow-over as soon as i finish writing on here. haha.
